Hai Gibbons

    Hainan black crested gibbon is a mammalian primate. The coat color of this gibbon is quite different between the sexes. The male is completely black with golden hair at the corners of his mouth. The female's hair color is yellowish gray and light brown, with black spots on the top of her head and abdomen. In addition, her fingers and limbs are dark brown. There is no significant difference in body size between the two sexes. The body weight can reach 8 kg. Unique color change: Hainan black crested gibbon changes color several times in its life. The newly born baby ape is golden yellow with a black line in the middle of its head; when it grows to about 6 months, its hair color begins to turn black, first of all, the shoulders, back, arms and buttocks, then it expands to other parts of the body, and finally to the abdomen. When they are 6-7 years old, their hair color is gradually divided into male and female. The female ape is dressed in gold, while the male is still dressed in black. The male's body hair does not change after it turns black completely, but the female's fur color gradually changes from black to light yellow at the mature age. Habitat: the black crested gibbon is mainly distributed in the core area of Bawangling National Nature Reserve. Bawangling is one of China's national nature reserves for the protection of black gibbons. It is located in the largest mountain range in the southwest of Hainan Island. It is located in the north of yagalaling, the largest mountain in the southwest of Hainan Island, with a total area of 66 square kilometers. Its climate conditions are superior, warm and humid, fertile soil, distribution of tropical or tropical virgin forest. This is the typical habitat environment of black gibbon. Under threat: Hainan black crested gibbon is the world's most endangered primate, with fewer than 10 in the 1970s. By may 2020, this kind of ape has just recovered to about 30.

 

​Cervus eldii, Hainan

    Hainan slope deer belongs to mammalian Artiodactyla, with a body length of 1.8 meters, tail length of about 20 cm, and slender limbs, which makes it particularly vigorous. Stags have horns. The coat is yellow brown, red brown or brown. There is a black brown ridge belt on the back, and white spots are dotted on both sides of the back. The spot of young deer is especially obvious, and the winter hair spot of adult deer is not obvious. Slope deer like to eat grass and tender tree branches and leaves, is herbivorous animals. It lives in hills and grass slopes and distributes in Southeast Asia and Hainan Island of China. It is a national first-class protected animal.

 

​Neofelis nebulosa

    Clouded leopard is a carnivorous feline, only distributed in the southeast of Asia, starting from Nepal in the west, to Myanmar and the south of Qinling Mountains in China, and eastward to Taiwan; to the south, it starts from eastern India, Indochina Peninsula, and ends in Malaysia peninsula. Clouded leopard's name comes from the fact that leopard skin has cloud like spots.

Clouded leopard is a primitive type of existing feline. The clouded leopard has the longest canine teeth of any living feline in proportion to its head. Its canine teeth are sharp, with a large gap between the premolar teeth and the largest ratio of length among the existing feline animals, and can bite and kill larger prey, which is similar to the extinct saber toothed tiger in prehistoric times. Clouded leopard mainly feeds on arboreal animals.
