Threats to biodiversity

      Now the habitat of animals and plants living in Hainan has been gradually destroyed. In recent years, the large-scale development of real estate has led to a great threat to the biodiversity of Hainan. Up to now, 115 species, such as Keteleeria hainanensis, Hainan wampee and Hainan gibbon, have been listed as extremely dangerous species, not only because of the destruction of animal and plant habitats by human beings, but also by the invasion of alien species, which also poses a great threat to the biodiversity of Hainan. In this severe situation, people need to establish more protected areas to protect these endangered animals and plants.
